Skiing in a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Three mountain resorts, Rocky Mountain scenery and frozen turquoise lakes.
The SkiBig3 pass covers three mountains — Lake Louise, Sunshine Village and Mt Norquay — all within the Banff National Park UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lake Louise is simply one of the most beautiful places you will ever stand with skis on: the frozen turquoise lake below, the Victoria Glacier above, and the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise as a backdrop. It's not the most challenging skiing but it's the most scenically extraordinary.
Per person per night — prices vary by season and booking lead time.
Fly into Calgary rather than Edmonton — 30 minutes closer. The drive to Banff is genuinely scenic and you'll see wildlife within the first hour. Rent skis in Banff town rather than at the mountain — significantly cheaper and they'll deliver to your hotel.
