Season guide

Apr–Jun: Best spring weather across the region — warm days, long evenings. Sep–Oct: Excellent autumn, golden light. Dec: Christmas markets are spectacular — Prague and Budapest are among the best in Europe. Jul–Aug: Hot and crowded on the Dalmatian Coast. Ski season: Dec–Apr for Bansko and the Tatras.
