South America's most extreme resort. Legendary powder, helicopter skiing and couloirs that attract the world's best freeriders.
Las Leñas is the Jackson Hole of South America — an extreme, isolated resort in the Mendoza province that receives extraordinary snowfall and has some of the most challenging terrain on the continent. The Aries peak accesses couloirs and powder fields that professional freeriders have filmed extensively. It's genuinely remote (the nearest city is Malargüe), the accommodation is simple and on-mountain, and the whole focus is skiing. Nothing else.
Per person per night — prices vary by season and booking lead time.
Las Leñas only makes sense if you're an advanced or expert skier specifically seeking off-piste. The beginner and intermediate terrain is extremely limited. Fly to Mendoza first and spend two nights exploring the world's best Malbec wine region before driving to the resort.
