The Sella Ronda circuit. Ski around a mountain range in a day, 40km of chairlifts, and Dolomite rock scenery that changes everything.
Val Gardena is the gateway to the Sella Ronda — the most famous ski circuit in the Dolomites, where you can ski a 40km loop around the Sella massif connecting four valleys on a single lift pass. The Dolomiti Superski pass unlocks 1,200km of linked pistes across 12 resort areas — the largest linked ski area in the world. Val Gardena itself has the added advantage of being a Ladin-speaking area with a distinctive culture all of its own.
Per person per night — prices vary by season and booking lead time.
Do the Sella Ronda clockwise on your first attempt — the lifts and runs flow better in that direction. Leave by 9am to complete it comfortably before the queues build at the connecting lifts after midday.
